Let me guess, there’s a girl?
.
Of course there’s a girl.
There’s always a girl.
In an Unrequited Love scenario there is a situation where One feels strongly and passionately for Another, but the Other does not reciprocate those feelings.
Naturally, this will expose a Conflict within Oneself.
Hence, the underlying question will arise,
“How can One feel so strongly and intensely for the Other,
but the Other feels nothing in return?”
One is within their right to feel as they feel for the Other. But also, the Other is within their right to feel or not to feel.
In fact, neither can help what they feel or do not feel.
Now, the turmoil begins.
How to resolve this conundrum?
The passion is intense, the longing to be with the Other is extreme. But still, it goes unfulfilled.
Angst, Torment, Pain; Excruciating, Unbearable.
The Questions.
How?
What?
Why?
“LEAVE!…..ME!…..ALONE!”
Then…, The Answer.
What is this…, Answer?
The Answer is…, The Flower.
What?!!
The flower will emit its fragrance even though none may be present to partake of its scent. There is no angst in the flower because no one is near to smell its aroma, it will express its perfume nonetheless.
As for the One that feels passion and affection toward the Other, they accept what they feel regardless of how the Other feels.
They honour themself by allowing their feelings for the Other and in doing so, they honour the Other.
The outcome?
Peace.
Can it not be seen, that all Conflict is essentially, Unrequited Love?
