Some Geopolitical Analysts, from the comfort of their homes and offices, are of the expectation that Russia should act more aggressively, and take greater casualties in doing such, just so these Armchair Generals can feel better about themselves.
Some of these Geopolitical Analysts are quick to express concern for U.S. military personnel being fed poorly on U.S. warships, but expect Russian lives to be needlessly sacrificed, so the Ukraine conflict can end quicker, for the benefit of Armchair Generals.
I don’t see these Geopolitical Analysts, or any members of their family, on the Ukrainian front lines, hurrying things along.
It’s easy for Armchair Generals to make bold proclamations of how a war should be fought, when there is no risk to themselves or their families.
Armchair Generals neglect to consider, that at the pointy end of comfortable bravado, are real Individuals, required to engage with the impact of that bravado.
To dig out the deep, rotting corruption infecting this world, while at the same time, minimising unnecessary destruction, requires time and meticulous care.
Engaging in a hasty, superficial sweep to make the facade look pretty, does not resolve the underlying rot. It only beautifies the eventual corpse.
This is a Conflict of Attrition, at every level.
Either you have the resolve and the stamina to see it through, or you don’t.
If these Geopolitical Analysts/Armchair Generals fancy a speedy resolution to the rot and corruption, then the destruction of the entire planet could easily be accommodated.
That would surely fix the problem quickly.
Would it not?
