Congratulations Scott, for being part of the greatest killing machine of its time.
It is obvious that you are proud of this fact.
It is obvious that this gives you a real sense of achievement.
It must feel special knowing that you could kill anyone at any time, should you be ordered to do so, or the urge compelled you.
It must feel special knowing that you were among a group of like-minded individuals, eager to follow Presidential orders, invade other people’s countries, kill their people and steal their stuff.
Yes, I understand how a cultish reverence for the Marine Corps and the piece of paper known as the Constitution, would engender such pride.
When the President of the United States of America, solves problems with a gun, it is considered tough, manly, strong.
When the President of the United States of America, steals other people’s stuff, it is considered, “protecting America’s interests”.
It is considered, Presidential.
When President, after President, after President resorts to a gun to solve America’s problems and is lauded for it, is it any real surprise that America has a serious problem with gun violence?
You reap what you sow.
Personally Scott, I value your work over the past several years, a million times higher than almost anything you achieved in the Marine Corps.
Your stand against the Weapons of Mass Destruction lies in Iraq, was highly commendable in this regard.
