Ustaše: Too Extreme Even For Hitler
My grandfather, from northern Croatia, was a soldier in Tito’s Partisan Army.
According to my mother, he only spoke once of his time during the war, by saying something along the lines of, all sides committed atrocities.
It seems he did not like being reminded of his time in the war, nor did he want to be treated like a “Hero”.
Some Croatians in Australia still openly glorified this reprehensible piece if shit Pavelić in the 1990s and 2000s.
There are no Heroes in War.
