Personal Encounter
The photograph below is of me standing in front of a door reaching up to grab the handle. It was taken in a town called Varaždin in Croatia in 2013.
I am 1.8 m (or 5 ft 11 inches) tall and am just able to reach it.
Who was this door made for?
My uncle, who took the photo, lived not too far from Varaždin, new the place well and even went to University there. But when I pointed out the door, it was the first time he noticed it.
The door was locked, by the way.
