The Buddha, Christ or Muhammad and many others, did not have epileptic seizures, or any other type of seizures.
They didn’t go “beyond” to see some altered state of Consciousness.
They resolved the barriers to deeper levels of Awareness, until they attained a state of Singularity/Consciousness.
There is no “beyond”, from this perspective.
It is possible to temporarily go “beyond” from shallow levels of Awareness.
For example, an Awareness state limited to the Physical or Emotional Body, may experience Awareness of the Psychological Body due to some extreme stress, for a short period of time. Provided Awareness is maintained and not suppressed.
This experience can be either Pleasant or Unpleasant. This experience is not, “Transcendent”.
Drug induced experiences from the likes of Ayahuasca may have a similar effect, or they could just be causing delusion.
On a snarky note, still waiting for all the deep and profound insights that Ayahuasca advocates promised would come from their amazing drug trips.
I won’t hold my breath.
There are no easy shortcuts to attaining Singularity/Consciousness. There are only distractions.
Take your pick.

Additionally, it was stated in the video that Dostoyevsky had a gambling problem. A Buddha, Christ or Muhammad could not have a gambling problem anywhere close to the Singularity/Consciousness state.

Divine Death, is death of the Ego. Not death of the body.
