OpenAI’s Collapse Has Finally Begun
Humanity’s problems are not due to a lack of Technology.
Technological advancement is not going to dig Humanity out of its dire hole.
Technological advancement is not required to improve people’s health.
Why wait for Technology to improve health, when poor health is not a Technological problem?
Chronic and degenerative conditions are not the result of a lack of Technology.
Maybe look at diet, lifestyle and environmental pollutants.
Technological advancement is not going to lead to Humans being more peaceful.
Technological advancement is not going to diminish Humanity’s issues. Instead, it will exacerbate them.
The industrial revolution did not make Humanity better. It made Humanity more comfortable and more deadly.
Human quality must instead improve appreciably. So then, Technological advancement will simply be a bonus.
Just like a child’s hunger for the next new toy can never be satiated, hunger for the next new technology is equivalently so for a malformed, juvenile psyche.
Transcend the hunger.
More Technology ≠ Better Humanity.
1 Claiming that the pursuit of Technology is valid to alleviate difficulty and Suffering, fails to recognise that Suffering is a crucial component in the development of Understanding and Wisdom. Provided, the Suffering is approached with authentic humility and acceptance.
If a particular vector of Suffering is mitigated through Technological means, without the corresponding Understanding and Wisdom accompanying it, then the Suffering will simply manifest through differing pathways.
Suffering is a response to Inner Conflict.
Suffering can be approached in two ways. It can be tended to with Technological methods, or it can be resolved via the growth of Wisdom.
The growth of Wisdom resolves the underlying Inner Conflict. Technological methods do not. Thus, leaving the underlying Inner Conflict to express through alternate avenues.
There is no escaping Suffering in life, while Inner Conflict remains unresolved.
A life without Suffering, is a life devoid of Wisdom.
