The Boy Who Cried Wolf, is a story of a young boy falsely claiming a threat, until he was not take seriously anymore. At which point, when the threat was real, he died.
Trump’s theatrics play a similar tune.
At some point, he will not be taken seriously anymore.
What happens then?
As far as a solution to the Israel-Palestine issue goes, how about the United States sever all economic and military ties with Israel and watch how quickly the Israelis run to the negotiating table with the Palestinians and their neighbours.
The United States is the one that has kept this conflict unresolved for so long, by backing Israel economically and militarily.
If Donald Trump’s stunt is about getting others to find a solution to this issue, then that is a cop-out on his part. He is abdicating his own responsibility as president of the United States.
That is not a strong leader in my eyes. That is a coward looking to avoid accountability.
Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy are similar in some ways. They both think they are performing in a television show.
