So, you have moved on from the idea of God being a Santa Claus in the sky.
Well done! Congratulations.
Seriously. No sarcasm intended.
But, you still see God as something separate from Yourself.
Now you see Consciousness, as something that must be worshipped and prayed to.
(Sigh.)
You are an expression of Consciousness.
You are Consciousness.
How can Consciousness be separated from Consciousness?
Consciousness cannot be Fragmented.
Consciousness is the Whole. You included.
When Awareness embarks on the Inner Pilgrimage and Traverses the Darkness, to encounter the Essence of Your Being, it discovers Consciousness.
Not Partial Consciousness, not Fragmented Consciousness, but Whole Consciousness.
Whole Consciousness, where nothing is absent, nothing is missing and nothing is separated.
This separation that is experienced in the shallower Awareness states, is an ego illusion.
Upon the death of the ego, this illusion evaporates. The idea of a God evaporates. Unless, everyone and everything is considered a God. But this is absurd.
The term “God” itself, implies a superiority; a hierarchy of obedience.
If God is now seen as Consciousness and Consciousness cannot be fragmented, then how can one aspect of Consciousness, be superior to another aspect of Consciousness?
This makes no sense.
Are you now worshipping and praying to yourself?
The term “God” itself, is absurd.
Fake Spiritual Teaching
Contrary to what some Fake Spiritual Teachers may present, simply being a “Good Person”, is not the goal of Spirituality.
Self-Awareness and Self-Understanding, is the goal of Spirituality.
Being a “Good Person”, may be an outcome of Self-Awareness and Self-Understanding. But it is not the goal.
Anyone can pretend to be a “Good Person”, and therefore, claim Spiritual credentials.
True Spirituality, does not work in this way.
Why do Fake Spiritual Teachers promote vague superficialities and nebulous promises? 4
Because they have no idea of what real Spirituality is. That is why they are Fake. 4

When parents of young children are inevitably confronted with existential questions, rather than regurgitate religious tropes based on scriptures taken at face value or cold, disengaged universal accident theories, here is a suggestion of how to initially broach such enquiries, which in turn help lead the child to deeper levels of Self-Understanding.
A parent can state,
“You are an expression of Singularity,
through the Universe.”
or
“You are an expression of Singularity,
through Universal Creation.”
This foundation is then able to be built upon from the information presented here at A Beautiful Aching, or from One’s own personal experiences and insights.
Parallel Development 1
In a transitioning environmental paradigm, it is not a linear serial progression that takes place. Changes occur throughout the system, in a myriad of areas, in a concurrent and dependent manner.
Development of one aspect of the Paradigm Shift, occurs in conjunction with all other aspects of the Paradigm Shift.
Being aware of and tracking one particular area of change in isolation, may be puzzling and frustrating without the awareness of its dependence on factors and developments in other areas.
As an example, monitoring physical geopolitical changes in isolation, fails to see the codependent requirements that must transpire across the spectrum, both materially and immaterially, for further transformation to occur in the geopolitical realm.
If one particular aspect of change were to develop too far ahead of all others, then a destabilising imbalance would result, which could potentially evolve into an unrestrained runaway phenomenon, that may be impossible to then rein back.
Obviously, destabilisation is a mandatory feature during any Paradigm Shift, but it is prudent not to push too hard in any one area, at the expense of all others. Although at times, it may be necessary to push hard in one particular area, to keep in sync with other areas. 2
Allowing the natural development of the Paradigm Shift to transpire is often easier said than done. Especially when the intensity of the transition becomes intolerable. But it is this intensity that is actually required, to help clear the path for further progression.
