The Basement: Brian Laythe
Ghosts, Possession, and Shadow People
Time Stamp – 12:28
“Like somehow there are these groups, these organisations,
that are “pure and clean” of human nature and behaviour.”
The term “Human Nature” is thrown around, like people know what they’re talking about.
Most claims made about “Human Nature”, are identifying behaviours of Ego in shallow Awareness states, without ever experiencing a fully Human state.
Ego cannot even comprehend a fully Human state. Because a fully Human state is absent of Ego.

Time Stamp – 15:21
“The ethical person will kill their family
and go without a job, so that their kids starve?”
What!?
Like the choice is ever that binary. So, either you’re a low-life scumbag, or your family dies?
Is this guy trying to justify his own lack of morality and ethics by saying, “Well, everybody else does it.”?
.
Time Stamp – 23:32
“But I’ve had a series of kind of paranormal experiences from a young age. Including some pretty negative encounters in my early years, say 12 or 13, that actually lead me to become religious. Because it scared me so bad. I was like, okay, I need to have a talk with God.”
It’s understandable that as a child, Brian looked to religion for answers out of fear, because it was the only thing presented to him.
But as an adult, he never reflected on that? He continued to be religious out of fear? Not because he considered religion to actually be based in truth?
And there is the fundamental, honest reason why most people are religious.
“I’m religious, because I’m afraid.”
Religion is a compensating mechanism for fear. Rather than facing, addressing and resolving the underlying fear.
Truth, has nothing to do with religion, and never did.

Time Stamp – 24:25
“Let me kind of tangent and give you an example. Let’s say I had a Star Trek tricorder. Right? And so, I got to time travel and I’m going to go back and I’m going to the resurrection of Jesus. Right? And so, I put my tricorder out. And… …and now suddenly I have all the information. Right? I’m like, Oh, look, the cellular structures did this and blah, blah, blah, blah… I can explain this now.
Well, okay, great. But the guy still came back from the dead.”
Again, What!?
Brian categorically claims that Jesus actually came back to life?
An event that happened 2000 years ago. Where he has no direct experience of the events himself. He does not know any of the sources of the information to know whether their accounts are reliable. But, because he read it in a book, or someone he now knows told him this was the case, he just proclaims it as irrefutable fact?
It’s never a consideration that Christ may not have actually been dead on the crucifix?
Maybe he was presumed dead? Or maybe he was declared dead without actually being dead, so he could be removed off the crucifix? Or some other possibility, 2000 years ago.
Apparently, no other alternatives are possible. The accounts from some guys that denied any association with Christ after he was detained, are the ones that should be taken at face value.
I understand that true objectivity is difficult to come by in a shallow Awareness state, but at least give it a try.
This is a good example for students, to never just buy what their professor is selling them.
That’s enough of this video.
Some of what Brian said was good, some of it was horseshit. His perspectives were inconsistent and schizophrenic. They didn’t know what they wanted to be.
But he presented them very confidently.

Why did A.J. just nod his head and not push back on any of this shit?
Why is A.J. too gutless to read his own comments?
