Games have objectives,
which upon successful completion,
lead to victory.
In the Game of Life,
the Primary Objective and the Victory is,
Self-Understanding.
One may try to engage with Life in Candy Crush mode. Where it is amusingly entertaining while passing the time, but on the whole, achieves nothing of substantial value.
Or perhaps, One can immerse themself in Dark Souls mode. Where it can be merciless and brutal, when the approach is not meticulous in understanding, action and timing. The overwhelming harshness of this mode is not by any gruesome physicality, but by the staggering intensity of emotional and psychological torment.
Candy Crush mode is an option diminishing quickly.
So, is One prepared to step up to the alternate mode, in The Game of Life?
Clarification
“…when the approach is not meticulous
in understanding, action and timing.”
In real life terms, this means the approach lacks Pureness of Intent, actioned through a Foundation of Wisdom.
But then, sometimes suffering will still come, regardless.
Because, that’s just Life.
