When One has the courage
to Stand on their own,
it matters not who or how many
Stands with them.
One does not ask
for permission to Stand,
nor requires solidarity
with others to Stand.
It matters not if another
to their left should buckle,
or any to the right, concede.
It matters not if all
to the front oppose them,
while others behind, attack.
It even matters not
for gods called upon,
to be saviours of the day.
The Strong Individual
will continue to Stand,
resolute, alone if necessary,
long after all else have fallen.
Every Strong Individual
has a bit of Mongrel to them.
But not every Mongrel,
is a Strong Individual.
