Alexander makes valid points about Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s constant demands for more missile defence systems.
However, I’m going to slightly side with Zelenskyy in this regard.
In 2022, the Ukrainians were willing to sign a peace deal with Russia, before Boris Johnson came along and convinced Ukraine to tear it up.
For this to happen, Ukraine must have been made some very appealing promises. So now, I suspect Zelenskyy is expecting those promises to be kept.
Should Zelenskyy have trusted the West to keep its promises? Probably not.
But when you’re a Scumbag dealing with other Scumbags, don’t be surprised if you’re left hung out to dry.
