The term, “Spirituality”, has so far not been used at all, in any of the writings presented on A Beautiful Aching and this is for good reason.
With that reason being,
“What does it mean?”
What is a definition for “Spirituality” that is substantive and meaningful, but does not venture off into religious ideology, vague intangibles and judgements of “Good” or “Bad”?
To satisfactorily define what is “Spirituality”, is to define what is not “Spirituality”, by process of exclusion.
But it can be argued that ALL is Spiritual, so what then does “Spirituality” even mean.
Rather than “Spirituality” being defined in terms of ideological preference or state of personal Self-Awareness, this definition offered below is instead a state of acknowledgement.
SPIRITUALITY
The Fundamental Recognition
of the Immaterial Foundation
of Material Reality.
The Unlearning
Knowing Truth, does not require
an Indoctrination process.
Knowing Truth, requires
an Unindoctrination process.
The process of discovering Truth, or Conscious Awakening, is not necessarily about acquiring more information or learning new skills.
It is primarily about Unlearning nonsense; clarifying Oneself from the mountain of excrement that One believes to be true.
Thus, from this state of Clarity, Truth has a clear and unhindered path for both Expression and Reception.
To gain all One actually IS,
One only need sacrifice
the ego and all One thinks they are.
On balance, a laughably
cheap price indeed.
The Belief System
Ego creates
the “Belief System”,
in a futile attempt
to validate itself.
Because even ego
needs some foundation.
But just like
the “Belief System”
is an illusion,
the ego
is also an illusion.
Consciousness
does not require
a “Belief System”.
In fact, Consciousness
is way beyond reach,
whilst grasping
a “Belief System”.
